Engagement Shoot in an Old Church Garden

These two lekker people will be getting married in just two short months and did their engagement shoot as a very good practice run for their wedding photos.

Most people are not in front of cameras on the regular, especially not while being all lovey-dovey with their partner. So it’s justifiably a very uncomfortable situation at first. That’s exactly why I recommend and encourage couples to do an engagement shoot before their wedding, even if it’s just for them and they won’t be using the images for save the dates or wedding invites.

Getting comfortable with a camera clicking away at your intimate or even emotional moments, learning how to respond to my cues & direction and most importantly to see the result of the photoshoot experience will all boost your confidence come wedding day.

Lutske & Reynardt were incredible in front of the camera — and they wouldn’t say that about themselves, but a picture says a thousand words right?!

Every couple is different and my aim is not to make you look like Instagram power couple on your shoot. I’m doing my creative best to capture your unique connection while making sure you feel comfortable and you enjoy the experience.

This is also a very good example of the power of neutral outfits — I love it! It makes everything look so comfortable and natural and that pop of colour on Lutske’s lips was the perfect touch!

I hope you enjoy going through these images!
