Sunset Engagement Shoot on Clifton Beach

Mary-Anne & Stef came all the way from Joburg (my hometown!) to do their engagement shoot in their fav city — I mean there’s no place like Cape Town right?

I originally planned a beautiful shoot for us at the Maiden’s Cove tidal pools — but as luck would have it, the wind that met me there was next level and I didn’t think I’d get as lucky again as I did with Cher & Grant’s engagement shoot a few weeks earlier. So we made a quick little detour plan… Clifton!

And wow was I amazed that just a few hundred metres up the coast and in between some cliffs we’d find a little bit of paradise (okay — that’s my cheese for the day!). No wind, perfect light, hardly anyone else in sight… it was amazing!

Mary-Kate & Stef’s little baby schnauzer-boy, Benji also joined in for the first part of the shoot, and what a cutie he is. Bring your pets to shoots people!

Running around in the icy water, popping bubbles, being surprised by some crashing waves, and lots belly laughs — I really had the best time documenting the love these two have for each other. They’re getting married later this year in Plett and if this shoot was anything to go by my camera & I will be VERY happy come December!

Press play on their slideshow below to experience all the love and keep on scrolling for more of my favourite moments from their shoot, frozen in time.
