Natasja & John’s Sunrise Shoot
Signal Hill is a very popular photography spot—with reason obviously! It has an incredible view of both the City Bowl and the Atlantic Seaboard and the sun sets beautifully over the ocean which is really an almost perfect shoot location.
But Natasja & John wanted to do something a little bit different from all the normal shoots because they’ve been doing a shoot each year for their anniversary in different destinations (how special?!). So we decided to do a sunrise shoot—something they haven’t done before!
Because it was their first time staying in Cape Town I wanted to choose a location that would show off Cape Town best and Signal Hill really hits the spot! City views, mountain views, ocean views—you’ve really got it all. The sunrise light made it even more glorious!
It was a very cold and windy morning and our light predictions were slightly off as we stood in the dark chatting for quite some time, but you can see what we got up to as soon as the first light hit. Enjoy!
