Picture Perfect Wedding Day at Kronenburg, Paarl

My connection with Danielle goes back a few years. I used to work at The Pretty Blog with her sister Rachelle who was the copywriter at the time. Every now and then Danielle would be invited to after-work drinks and she vowed to herself that I was going to be her wedding photographer one day — a few years passed, Danielle had met the love of her life Dewald and they got engaged.

Initially, their wedding was planned for a beautiful winter’s day last year, but covid put a stop to those plans and they decided to play it safe and postpone by a few months.

Unfortunately, Danielle’s sister wasn’t able to travel back to South Africa and she joined via video call throughout the day and even pre-recorded a ~seriously~ emotional speech for the reception — I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house!

From the big emotions with her reveal to her dad AND her first look with Dewald before the ceremony I could see the love that covers this family and holds them together is the real deal.

I’ve included their slideshow to hopefully give you the same feels I had experiencing their wedding day story. I love the way music helps to tell a story and makes reflecting back on your wedding day a whole experience and not just another scroll. I hope you enjoy going through all the motions and emotions of Danielle & Dewald’s picture-perfect wedding day with me.
