Classic Minimalist Wedding at Zorgvliet, Stellenbosch

When an interior architect & an architect gets married you know it’s going to be a stylish affair!

Eloise & JD’s wedding day at Zorgvliet in Stellenbosch started out pretty gloomy as rain would come and go and dark clouds loomed throughout the morning. Every now and then a little patch of sun would be visible and everyone would rejoice, and soon after it would be followed by another downpour of rain. It was like this until after the ceremony. But this day turned out to be one of the most spectacular wedding days I’ve had the privilege of documenting.

Soon after the ceremony, we were busy taking some bridal party photos inside Zorgvliet’s incredible wine tasting venue, and we ran outside because we saw a quick gap in the sky for some outdoor shots. Then all of a sudden it all opened up and the light was magical! We were even blessed with a double rainbow during canapés!

The whole wedding day was filled with excitement and love as these two who’ve been together for almost 10 years tied the knot and promised their forever love to each other. There are not a lot of things that get me quite as excited as two people who love each other and have waited this long for marriage to step into one of the most glorious relationships God ever designed.

Enjoy these frames from Eloise & JD’s wedding day story.
