Nicci & Storm’s Wedding at Blaauwklippen, Stellenbosch
It has been a dream of mine to shoot a wedding at Blaauwklippen with the caliber of suppliers you’ll see listed at the bottom—so you can imagine my excitement when Christelle from Kraak contacted me and said that Nicci’s mother Gina would be in Cape Town and would like to meet with me.
Every detail was perfectly planned by Kraak & Gina and really invited all their guests to join in celebrating the love that these two have for each other. Their story is a special one and is definitely marked by some divine favour!
From floral installations done by the one and only Fleur le Cordeur to Nicci’s breathtaking dress, everything was elegant, simplistic and true to them. My favourite part of the entire wedding was probably their reception. Everyone’s speeches were testimonies of Nicci & Storm’s character and the amount of laughter that erupted out of that glass venue during Storm’s speech was next-level! (you’ll have to scroll down to witness it!) These people can party! And thankfully they had an incredible DJ and a Lighting Designer that made my editing work a breeeeze!
Thank you Nicci & Storm for making it hard for me to choose my favourite images and to stick to my editing limit—I have no regrets!
