Intimate, heartfelt & truly special—that’s what these moments at Rachelle’s childhood home marrying the love of her life were. Nothing short of glorious!

At the last minute Rachelle & Stephan had to postpone their big wedding plans due to unforeseen events, but nothing stopped these two from still tying the knot in their backyard the same weekend they were going to get married!

The whole day I was taken back to my own wedding (which I will still blog about!) and how everything felt more weighty because all the fancy details and big plans weren’t there anymore distracting us from the joy of stepping into marriage.

Under this incredible oak tree, Rachelle & Stephan made their promises of eternal love and it was a ~joy~ to witness and document!

They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.
